Madonna got cheeky on the Grammys’ red carpet, flashing her butt while showing off her black Givenchy matador outfit.

Madonna Attends The 2015 GRAMMYs

Madonna walked the red carpet in her custom made Givenchy corset, complete with a silky pink and black lace fringe. The pop icon paired the look with fishnet stockings and over-the-knee black leather boots. While strutting down the red carpet, Madonna gave the public an eyeful of her backside as she mooned the cameras.

The Givenchy gown was designed by Riccardo Tisci, and styled by Madonna’s longtime stylist B. Akerlund, and Madonna herself oversaw the creation, which took a reported 25000 hours and 50 people to create.

“Madonna is a real-life friend and working with her is always effortless, like collaborating with family,” said Tisci.

The matador theme is one that Akerlund said is powerful and suited to Madonna. “I think the whole relationship between the matador and the bulls is something that we find a beautiful relationship, and [we] played with that – how she’s killing off the bulls and she’s the matador standing in the end. There’s a beautiful story for why the matadors fight the bulls and that also reflects life,” Akerlund told Style.com

Not everyone was a fan of the dress. Madonna’s couture matador costume has landed her on several Worst Dressed lists, including E!’s Fashion Police. Madonna herself, however, was more than pleased with the “fierce” look.

Madonna also rocked a nearly identical Givenchy getup for her performance of her new song “Living For Love.”
