Madonna fell down while delivering her much-hyped performance at the 2015 Brit Awards Wednesday night in London.

Madonna, 56, took the spill after one of her dancers pulled at her cape from behind during her performance of “Living for Love.” In theory, the cape was supposed to unbutton at the neck. When it didn’t, the pop icon ended up tumbling backwards down a set of stairs to the ground. Ever the consummate performer, Madonna shook off the shocking spill and went right back into her number.

Following her performance – which was glitch-free other than the wardrobe malfunction – Madonna took to Instagram to reassure her fans that she was okay. “Armani hooked me up! My beautiful cape was tied too tight!” she wrote. “But nothing can stop me and love really lifted me up! Thanks for your good wishes! I’m fine! #livingforlove.”

Madonna had closed out the show that had an average of 5.3 million viewers tuned in during the broadcast. Ed Sheeran picked up the night’s top award – Album of the Year – as well as Best British Male Artist. Sam Smith picked up the Breakthrough Artist Award, as well as the Global Success Award. Taylor Swift won Best International Female Artist, while Pharrell Williams won Best International Male Artist.
