On August 16, 2018, Madonna turned 60 years old. The “Queen of Pop” celebrated by bringing her closest friends and family members on a five-day trip to Marrakesh, Morocco. Madonna’s exclusive circle included her six children, touring dancer Marvin Gofin, actress Debi Mazar (Younger, Entourage) and French photographer JR. The music icon took to Instagram to commemorate her special week with a series of photos and videos.

Madonna took an inspiring walk during the Call to Prayer early in her “magic adventure.” The gorgeous ritual song paired with the dark cobblestone streets make for an environment of spiritual camaraderie and peace, perfect for a 60th birthday.
