Madonna, 66, Celebrates Boyfriend Akeem Morris’ 29th Birthday, Morris Thanks His ‘Wifey’

On May 2, pop icon Madonna was seen going all out for her boyfriend Akeem Morris’ 29th birthday.

She shared a carousel of pictures of the celebration with her followers on Instagram, giving a look at the couple’s flashy celebration. Madonna wore a sheer beige blouse with a lacy bra beneath, light silver pants, and jewelry, complemented by large dark shades. Morris opted for a more casual look, with a jersey sporting the statement “JABBAR JUSTICE,” blue basketball shorts and silver chains around his neck and wrists.

Madonna and Morris first met in August 2022, and dating rumors sparked in July 2024 when Madonna posted photos of the two cozying up in New York City. At the time, a source close to the singer reported, “Madonna is happier than she has been in a long time…her romance with Akeem has been a real whirlwind, but they are so in love.”

The couple was also accompanied by reggae legend Bob Marley’s son, YG Marley, who donned a black T-shirt, a Yankees ball cap, and a large, glitzy chain with his name on it.

The photo series showed Madonna and Morris posing with one another and friends, enjoying drinks and pizza, and singing together.

Madonna wrote in her caption, “Happy Birthday to my favorite Taurus ♉️ @akkmorris,” and extended her appreciation, writing, “Thank you @ygmarley for joining us. It was a night to remember.”

Her caption concluded, “🇯🇲 🖤🇯🇲🖤🇯🇲. One Love……..”

In the comments of Madonna’s post, Morris affectionately pronounced, “I LOVE YOU.”

Madonna’s post also featured a shot of four of her six children at the celebration, including her 12-year-old twins Stella and Estere, as well as her 19-year-olds, Mercy and David.

Morris himself shared a carousel of photos to Instagram, captioning the post for Madonna: “All I can say is thank you. Thank you, wifey. It meant so much to have the people I love and respect all in one room.”
