Madonna, 65, Spotted Strolling With Her New Boyfriend, Jamaican Soccer Player Akeem Morris, 28, In Portofino
Madonna, the legendary music icon, has captivated the world once again, this time with her latest romantic venture. The singer, 65, was recently spotted with her new beau, Akeem Morris, 28, a Jamaican-born soccer player, in the picturesque streets of Portofino, Italy.
The couple first crossed paths at Madonna’s August 2022 Paper magazine cover shoot and appeared completely at ease in each other’s company, adding to the relaxed and romantic atmosphere of their Italian getaway. Morris, dressed in a casual yet stylish ensemble, complemented Madonna’s dramatic black gown with a lace overlay and a cascade of layered necklaces.
This new chapter in Madonna’s life comes after a challenging year – in June 2023, the singer was rushed to the hospital after being she was found unresponsive due to a serious bacterial infection.
However, The Celebration Tour, which marked Madonna’s first-ever career retrospective, was a resounding success, with a massive free concert at Rio de Janeiro’s Copacabana Beach which drew a staggering 1.6 million fans—a number that made it the largest standalone concert in history. Throughout the tour, Madonna frequently acknowledged the support of her children, all of whom were present during a particularly emotional performance in Brooklyn.
The superstar shares her daughter Lourdes, 27, with her former boyfriend Carlos Leon, her son Rocco, 23, with her ex-husband Guy Ritchie, and three adopted children: David Banda, 18, Chifundo ‘Mercy’ James, 18, and twins Stella and Estere, 11.
Despite the 37-year age gap, Madonna and Morris’ relationship seems to have blossomed quickly, with the couple frequently sharing intimate and provocative moments on social media. Their public outings, such as their Fourth of July celebration, have only fueled the public’s fascination with this new romance.
