Mackenzie Rosman, who played Ruthie on 7th Heaven, posed for the September issue of Maxim magazine in just her bra and underwear.

Rosman, who took the photos back in March, tweeted at the time, “I caved… Just wrapped a #Maxim photoshoot.”

When 7th Heaven, the ultimate family drama, was still on the air, series star Jessica Biel had posed topless for Gear magazine. Biel was only 17, and the racy photographs were met with their fare share of criticism. Stephen Collins, who played patriarch Reverend Camden on the show, called the shoot “child pornography.

The show’s producers ultimately filed a suit against the magazine, and Rosman, who’s 23, revealed that the issue was contraband on the 7th Heaven set. “It was a big deal,” she told Maxim. The magazine was banned on set, I think by orders of Aaron Spelling. I sneaked a peek at it though. It was racy gossip amongst the women of 7th Heaven.”

While Rosman is best remembered for playing the angsty but well-behaved youngest child of the Camden brood, she first squashed that image in 2008 when scandalous pictures leaked of the then-19-year-old actress. One showed her posing in her underwear and the other showed her kissing a girl.

Rosman will next appear in SyFy TV movie Ghost Shark, and has horror film Nightcomer in production.
