Mac Miller, 26, was discovered in his California home dead on Friday. Miller’s premise is currently presumed to have been “swept clean” in order to remove any evidence of his drug usage prior to the police’s investigation.
According to TMZ, authorities searched Miller’s home for evidence regarding his cause of death, only finding a small quantity of a white powder. After interviewing witnesses, police came to the conclusion that his property had been cleaned of any evidence pertaining to drug usage.

However, it is improbable that Miller himself handled the cleanup duty, as authorities believe it is unlikely “someone who consumed a fatal dose would have the foresight to scrub the house of pill bottles, illegal drugs as well as drug paraphernalia on the off chance they might die.”
Notably, other people were known to be present at Miller’s house on Thursday night and Friday, including when the call to 911 was made. Nobody reportedly saw Miller alive after Thursday evening, however.
Police currently contest the “Loud” singer died of a drug overdose. His cause of death will be confirmed once the Los Angeles County Coroner completes its toxicology tests.
