'Real Housewives' Star Luann De Lesseps To Divorce From Tom D'Agostino After 7 Months
Luann de Lesseps was arrested last December at Palm Beach for reportedly kicking a police officer while intoxicated. Since then, a Florida court has accepted her plea deal, allowing her to avoid jail time.
Lesseps, who has had run-ins with the law before, plead guilty to her latest charges back in July, namely battery, intoxication and trespassing. Her plea deal was signed by a judge on Wednesday, dropping three of her charges and closing her case.

However, the Real Housewives of New York City star must finish one year of probation in New York as part of her plea deal. That will entail serving 50 hours in community service and attending two Alcohol Anonymous meetings each week. Additionally, the 53-year-old actress must join a Victim Impact Class run by Mothers Against Drunk Driving, and she must pay $866 in court fees. Finally, as she will be subjected to spontaneous alcohol and drug tests, she must avoid ingesting those substances. Lesseps also, according to the terms of her plea deal, sent her victim, the police officer, a letter of apology.
Shortly following her Christmas time arrest, Lesseps checked into rehab and apologized for her conduct through Twitter, writing, “I want to offer my most sincere apologies to anyone that I might have offended with my behavior. This was my first time in Palm Beach since my wedding and being here brought up buried emotions. I am committed to a transformative and hopeful 2018.”
