Last Saturday, Timothy Lincoln, 42, was arrested in Alabama when he threatened to blow up an Ulta Beauty store. He has since drawn the public’s attention for his unusual mug shot.
In the mug shot, Lincoln stares at the camera lifelessly from under a bushy beard freshly painted blue and several layers of marker scribbles. Red scrawls meet at a green point on his nose, while Frankenstein’s monster-esque black stitch marks adorn his forehead, along with the letters INRI” in purple. INRI is an acronym for a Latin phrase that translates to “Jesus of Nazareth, King of the Jews.”
Lincoln, who hails from Louisiana, was nabbed outside of the makeup store in Opelika, north-west of Montgomery, at 10 a.m. on Oct. 19, after an Ulta employee overheard Lincoln threaten “I’m going to blow this up,” while he was on the phone. The employee notified her manager and the store was evacuated. Police rushed to the scene and arrested Lincoln.
Lincoln’s face was not as colorful when the phone call to the police was initially made. He found the markers and paint sometime before he was cuffed, but it is unclear from where.

Lincoln was charged with making a terrorist threat and was banned from Ulta for life. He is currently being held at the Lee County Detention Center on a $100,000 bond.
Making a terrorist threat is considered a class C felony in Alabama with a maximum sentence of ten years in prison if convicted.
