Louis Tomlinson’s Mother, Johannah Deakin, Dies At 42
Louis Tomlinson’s mom, Johannah Deakin, has died at the age of 42. Deakin lost her battle with cancer earlier this week.
A statement from the family told People that Johannah died in the early hours of Wednesday, December 7.
The family explained: “Earlier this year Johannah was diagnosed with a very aggressive form of leukemia that required immediate and continuous treatment. We respectfully request that the family are given time and space to grieve in private.”
Deakin had 7 children from 3 marriages: Louis Tomlinson, Lottie Tomlinson, Félicité Tomlinson, twins Daisy and Phoebe Tomlinson, and twins Ernest and Doris Deakin. She also had one grandson, Louis’ son, Freddie Reign.

Outpouring of Support On Social Media
Since the tragic news, Tomlinson has received an overwhelming amount of support from friends, family, and fans.
Celebrities like Zayn Malik and Liam Payne also showed support.

Selena Gomez, who has previously been linked to Tomlinson’s band mate, Niall Horan, also shared her condolences via Twitter.

Tomlinson shared a picture of his mom as a tribute on Instagram. “My mother looking gorgeous before the Brits this year. I love you and miss you so much!”, he wrote.
While Louis and his sister, Lottie, 18, have yet to make statements regarding the death, Lottie posted an image of a broken heart to her Instagram account on Wednesday.
