Loredana Nesci, who was the star of SundanceTV’s Loredana, Esq., was found dead Wednesday morning in what is being reported as a homicide. She was 47.
Nesci was found dead at her home in Redondo Beach, Calif. Her partner Robert Reagan, 51, called police early Wednesday morning to report an emergency at the home. Upon finding Nesci dead by a fatal gunshot wound, police arrested Reagan and have launched a murder investigation, according to Deadline.
Reagan, with whom Nesci had a young son, is being held on $1 million bail.
Nesci’s brother Sal Nesci, a Meriden Police Lieutenant, released a statement to address his sister’s tragic death.
“We lost our sister, who is a great person,” he told the told The Record-Journal. “She is definitely larger than life and she will be sadly missed.”
Before studying law at Quinnipiac University, Nesci had worked as a Los Angeles police officer. Following law school, she practiced at a pair of practices in Connecticut, and eventually moved back to Los Angeles to continue practicing law. By 2008, she had her own radio show, and by 2013 she’d kicked off her TV show, Loredana Esq.
Nesci is survived by her son Rocco Nesci-Reagan.
