Lorde appeared on Saturday Night Live on Saturday, and fans loved it.
The 20-year-old singer sang her single “Green Light” and song “Liability,” both off her upcoming album Melodrama, which is set to come out on June 19.
In an interview with Zane Lowe on Beats 1, Lorde revealed that “Green Light” is about “my first major heartbreak.” “This is that drunk girl at the party dancing around crying about her ex-boyfriend who everyone thinks is a mess,” she said, “That’s her tonight and tomorrow she starts to rebuild. And that’s the song for me.”
The singer greatly added to the performance with some interesting dance moves.
Later in the show, she appeared in a sketch where she attempted to sing “Royals.”
