Lorde And Ellie Goulding Vent About Being Ignored By Taxi Drivers Who Geek Out Over Other Celebs

On Tuesday, Lorde took to Twitter to vent about an interaction with an Uber driver that raved about having a celebrity in his car previous to her ride.

Unaware of the Grammy Award winner in his midst he went on about the prior celebrity.

Lorde was not alone. She got a reply from Ellie Goulding who shared a similar experience.

Originally from New Zealand, Lorde is currently in the U.S. working on her follow up album to her successful disc Pure Heroine.

She is working with musician Jack Antonoff on her new record, but has yet to announce a release date. However, she recently admitted she’d made a breakthrough in recording after venturing into the forest and spending three days on her own to work on her songwriting.
