Lollapalooza Music Festival Kicks Off Soon In Chicago – Full Lineup List & Tickets
Music festival fans and midwesterners rejoice as the four-day Lollapalooza festival will be beginning in a couple of short weeks on Thursday, July 28. Almost 200 bands will be playing across nine stages over the weekend in Chicago.
Lollapalooza first came to being in 1991, when the singer of Jane’s Addiction Perry Farrell designed it as a farewell tour for the band. He still runs the festival to this day in collaboration with the William Morris Agency and Live Nation.
The festival not only offers single day to full-festival passes, but also advertises some exciting aftershows happening before and after concert days with extra performances by booked festival acts like The Wombats, Ashnikko and Billy Strings.
Lollapalooza has always offered a huge variety of different artists and bands to enjoy, and that hasn’t changed here. The list of performers from headliners all the way to the earliest performers each day is ecclectic and extremely well-curated.
