Lola Tung Attends CFDA Fashion Awards In A Stunning Crystal See-Through Dress

While many at the CFDA Fashion Awards decided to dress up in black, Lola Tung went with a nude look.

The Summer I Turned Pretty actress didn’t actually go in the nude, but her Balmain dress definitely gave the illusion of it. Tung wore a crystal see-through dress with nude coverings underneath and to complete the full look, she wore nude heels and crystal dangling earrings.

Though the dress looks complicated to wear, Tung told Access Hollywood that “it was pretty easy to get into,” as it had a zipper running down the back of it.

“It’s Balmain, and I’m just thrilled to be in it and [look] like a little chandelier essentially,” she said.

The 21-year-old star made a name for herself when she was cast as the leading role in The Summer I Turned Pretty.

In an exclusive uInterview talk last year, Tung shared one of the best moments on set with her co-stars.

“It was really so special,” she said. “They’re a wonderful group of people. Our first day of filming was a really special day. It was the day we filmed the famous ‘Belly’ flop, which was a special moment in the book. We had a couple [of] weeks in Wilmington, North Carolina, where we filmed, to just bond before we started filming. I remember that first day I felt so comfortable with all of them, like we had known each other for so long. We had the best time and had a big group hug moment at the end and I felt so lucky to be a part of such a wonderful cast.”
