Grammy-winner Lizzo stepped out at the 2022 Met Gala wearing a hand-embroidered gold-and-black coat with a black, silk satin dress by Thom Browne. During the red carpet live stream, the “Good as Hell” singer revealed that the gown took about 1,200 “man-hours” of the golden hand embroidery, which came to a total of 22,000 hours.

Lizzo even brought a flute as an accessory. The instrument has been known to be her favorite, one that she had played in many live performances. For the night of the Met, the singer brought a “rare” golden flute, priced at $55,000, which she also played in the middle of the museum’s steps.
