'Little Darth Vader' Max Page To Undergo Open-Heart Surgery

Max Page, 7, the boy who played "Little Darth Vader" in a popular 2011 Super Bowl commercial, will undergo open-heart surgery today to repair a hole in his heart and replace his pulmonary valve, Today reports. Max, who was born with a congenital heart defect, is checking into Children's Hospital Los Angeles today.

Max's mom Jennifer Page discussed Max's bravery in an e-mail released by Deutsch advertsing agency. “Mom I don’t have a choice," Page quotes her son as saying. "I have to go through it. I don’t like it and it’s still scary — but I have to. So I think I might as well go through it with a good attitude.”
