Lindsay Lohan's SCRAM Bracelet Is Set Off

Lindsay Lohan’s court-ordered alcohol monitoring SCRAM bracelet, was set off Sunday evening during an MTV Movie Awards after party.

It is still unclear whether alcohol was detected in her system or if the device was tampered with. Lohan could face jail time if the judge rules that the actress violated the conditions of her bail, which includes abstaining from alcohol and submitting to random drug tests.

The SCRAM checks for traces of alcohol in the wearer’s perspiration and must be worn at all times. The device was placed on Lohan’s left ankle last month after she did not show up at a mandatory progress review hearing. A warrant was issued shortly after for her arrest. –ALEXA GREENBERG
