Dina Lohan, Lindsay Lohan’s mother, is suing a truck rental company after a collision that happened two years ago.
Lohan alleges that the driver who was using a company truck crashed into her car on April 22, 2022. The lawsuit was filed against Penske Truck Leasing Company in the New York Supreme Court. The amount of damages Dina, 61, is seeking is unspecified at this time.
The driver allegedly collided with Lohan’s car, leaving her with serious injuries. These injuries are not detailed, but Lohan claims that they left her “disabled” and cost her a great amount of expense.
The description of the collision reveals that the truck was rammed into the rear and passenger side of Lohan’s 2008 Chevrolet around 10 a.m. in New York.
This is not the first time Lohan has been involved in a driving accident.
In January 2020, Lohan was imprisoned for 18 days after a hit-and-run due to drunk driving. She crashed her Mercedes into another car in Merrick, New York. This occurred at an Outback Steakhouse, where she tried to flee but was chased down by the driver. She then refused to take a breathalyzer test and was taken into custody. She took a plea deal in Nassau County Court and served a short sentence.
This was her second time being arrested for drunk driving. In 2013, Lohan was arrested for speeding at 77 mph in a 55 mph zone. Police found her blood alcohol level to be twice the legal limit. She pleaded Lohan guilty to this charge, although she revealed she was only speeding as paparazzi were chasing her.
Recently Lohan’s daughter actress, Lindsay Lohan, gave birth to a son in Dubai, with many offering congratulations online including from her former on-screen mom, Jamie Lee Curtis.
