Lindsay Lohan, 24, can't stay out of the spotlight … or the courts.
The troubled starlet is set to be arraigned on charges of felony grand theft at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, reports Entertainment Weekly. The charges address suspicions that Lohan stole a $2500 necklace from a store in Venice, California on January 22.
On that date, she allegedly walked out of the jewelry store with the necklace in her possession. Her lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley, later issued a statement claiming denying any wrongdoing on Lohan's part. The former Disney star claimed that the whole situation was a misunderstanding, and her stylist had failed to return the item on time, according to Us Weekly.
This all follows closely on the heels of Lohan's release from L.A.'s Betty Ford Clinic, where she completed a court-ordered 90-day rehab program after violating her parole. She is still on probation from a 2007 D.U.I. If convicted of felony theft, she could serve up to three years in California state prison. —KIMBERLY STEELE
