Lindsay Lohan revealed on Sunday that she suffered a miscarriage during the taping of her OWN reality series.
In the shocking Lindsay finale, Lohan reflected on her time filming the docu-series, and admitted that she suffered a miscarriage during the filming.
“No one knows this…I had a miscarriage for those two weeks I took off. It’s a very long story…mentally, that messes with you,” Lohan said.
Lohan refused to elaborate on the miscarriage, but she did say that she had to stop filming because she was in extreme pain and, at times, “couldn’t move.”
It’s unclear when Lohan suffered the miscarriage, as she took breaks from filming a few times throughout the process, and nothing is known about the identity of the father.
Despite the difficult admission, Lohan says that filming the show and watching herself onscreen scared her at times.
“Watching this series, I just know how I felt at that moment and I can relate to that girl. It sounds kind of crazy. I’m like, 'Oh my god, this is really sad. Who’s helping her?'”
Lohan says she has learned how to cut all the negative influences out of her life, and says she’s “in a good place.”
“The biggest thing I learned from this experience and doing this show is my work ethic is different. I have that fire back in me. I have that aggressiveness that I used to have to keep going, and that adrenaline rush I get from doing good things and being happy and feeding my soul again. And that feels pretty incredible,” Lohan concluded, with a smile.
Lohan just filmed an appearance on 2 Broke Girls and is currently working on her new film, Inconceivable.
