After two stints in jail and two separate trips to rehab in 2010 alone, Lindsay Lohan is ready to turn a new page in the new year, beginning with her expected exit from the Betty Ford rehab center on Monday.
The Mean Girls actress has a new mantra for 2011 as well. "Today is the first day of the rest of my life. 'The future depends on what we do in the present.' -Mahatma Gandhi… One step at a time…" she posted on her Twitter on January 1.
The 24-year-old made headlines in December after a worker at the Betty Ford Center accused her of misdemeanor battery. The charges were later dropped. Lohan will now need to prove to a judge that she complied with all of the terms of her probation. Her next court hearing is Feb. 25, 2011. —ISHITA SINGH
