Lindsay Lohan Films Guest-Host Spot On 'Chelsea Lately'

Lindsay Lohan is out of rehab and on your television, as the troubled starlet will guest-host E!’s late night talk show, Chelsea Lately on Monday August 6.

Lohan was released from court-ordered rehab in a locked facility on July 30 after having completed her 90-day sentence. Lohan, who has been in and out of court for years, was ordered to spend three months in rehab as part of a plea deal after she was involved in a car crash last June. Lohan was not allowed to leave the rehab facility for any reason during her stay. She began her rehab stint at the Betty Ford Center and then moved to Cliffside, where she completed her sentence. To make sure that she stays sober, Lohan has reportedly hired a sober living coach to be around her at all times, and must participate in three fifty-minute therapy sessions a week.

Now that Lohan’s legal troubles appear to be over, it’s time for a comeback. Enter Chelsea Lately, E!'s late night talk show hosted by comedian Chelsea Handler. Lohan shot her guest-host episode on Thursday, E! confirmed, and she was reportedly on time and eager to work. E! reported that she was funny, polite, and gracious – thanking the audience members and the crew after she had wrapped.

“I’ve been on a 90-day court ordered vacation,” Lohan joked according to TMZ. The site also reports that Lohan made more self-deprecating remarks and even called Handler out on her drinking.

Lohan finished off the show by interviewing actor Dylan Bruce from Orphan Black.

After the shoot, Lindsay tweeted about the fun experience, thanking everybody once again.

A picture of Lohan with Chelsea Lately star, Chuy, was also released via-twitter.

This may be Lohan’s first post-rehab gig, but it won’t be the last. Lohan’s newest film, The Canyons (shot pre-rehab) opens in limited release on August 2. She is also set to participate in a sit-down interview with Oprah that will be followed by an eight-part reality series on OWN, focusing on her transition back into Hollywood after rehab. The series is set to air sometime in 2014.

Chelsea Lately, hosted by Lohan, will air Monday ,August 5 at 11/10c on E!.
