Lindsay Lohan Completes Community Service, Is Officially Off Probation

Lindsay Lohan has completed her 125 hours of community service, and is officially off probation for the first time in almost eight years.

Lindsay Lohan Probation Ends After 8 Years

Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Mark Young officially ended Lohan’s probation on Thursday, May 28, after the actress logged in 125 hours of community service. Lohan’s community service records were put under question in February, with records suggesting Lohan hadn’t performed as many hours as she originally claimed. As a result, Young had ordered Lohan to complete an extra 125 hours of community service. In early May, seeing Lohan still had 116 hours to go, Young told Lohan she had to finish by May 28, and now she has.

Lohan has been working full days, every day in New York City for the past few weeks in order to complete her service hours, which stem from a 2012 reckless driving case. She lent her services to multiple organizations, including the Brooklyn Community Services, The Ali Forney Institute and the TLC Women’s Shelter, and frequently updated her Twitter and Instagram followers on her progress.

“Hard work pays off. Thank you to all those that allowed me to volunteer while in NYC. God bless you all. Amen,” Lohan wrote on Instagram.
