In this economy, even Hollywood starlets struggle to pay their bills. Appearing in court Thursday for a regular probation hearing, Lindsay Lohan, 25, told the judge that the reason she has not been getting court-ordered psychological treatment is because she cannot afford to pay for it.
Lohan's attorney told the Los Angeles court that the actress failed to continue counseling because of "financial issues," but the judge was not hearing any excuses. "If she doesn't have the means [to pay for it], she's got to find someone to help her out," Judge Stephanie Sautner responded, telling Lohan that she had 21 days to produce proof that she's getting treatment.
Lohan, who is on probation since being released from her 35-day home confinement stay, plead no contest to misdemeanor necklace theft in May. She will be on probation for the next three years.
