Lindsay Lohan Appears At New York Fashion Week To Support Sister Aliana Lohan

Lindsay Lohan supported her younger sister, and budding model, Aliana Lohan, at New York Fashion Week on Wednesday.

Aliana walked the runway of Wendy Nichol’s Saints of the Zodiac show in Soho, and had the full support of Lindsay for her runway moment. Lindsay, who recently completed a 90-day, court-ordered stay in rehab, arrived at the show wearing a revealing, sheer, floor length dress and sky-high platform heels. Lindsay completed the romantic Goth look with a gold headpiece.

Lindsay blogged about the fashion show, citing it as Aliana’s very first, and uploaded pictures on her official website.

“She did such a good job. So proud of my sister,” writes Lindsay.

Aliana has been modeling her entire life, but only recently moved to New York City after signing a contract with Wilhelmina Models.

Lindsay decided to travel to New York instead of Venice, where she was rumored to be scheduled to promote her film The Canyons at the Venice Film Festival. Lindsay insists that she was never confirmed to attend and, in a statement on her website, explained that her number one priority remains her health and sobriety.

“I am so grateful for the extraordinary experience of being a part of this film. Unfortunately, I have to clear up these reports. I was never confirmed to attend. Of course, I would have enjoyed returning to that wonderful city and being a part of this amazing event, but my focus is on my health and well-being. Plain and simple, it is of the utmost importance,” Lohan wrote in her statement.

Since her release from rehab, Lohan has put herself back in the spotlight with a guest-hosting stint on Chelsea Lately and a special appearance on Oprah’s Next Chapter.
