Lil Wayne abruptly ended his Saturday night show in Los Angeles after fans, who had waited for him for three and a half hours, were not enthusiastic enough about his guest performances.

The “Lollipop” rapper took to the stage for the final show of his Welcome To Tha Carter Tour at the Wiltern in Los Angeles, an hour later than the scheduled start time. After performing for about 30 minutes, Wayne introduced some of the members of his Young Money label, including Lil Twist, Yaj Kader, and Allan Cubas, and left them to perform.

Wayne was dissatisfied, to say the least, by the crowd’s response to his new artists and soon returned to the stage during Cubas’ performance to announce that the show was over.

“We appreciate it, but we ain’t about to be bending over backwards for these folks. We work too hard for this shit. We work way too hard,” the rapper told a confused Cubas.

“This my motherf***in’ artist Allan, that was Twist, that was Yaj; we are Young Money. We appreciate y’all time,” Wayne said before gently placing the microphone on the ground and leaving the stage.

Fans have taken to social media to share the viral moment and express their disappointment in the rapper.

One Twitter user recalled the night’s events, saying they “went to the Lil Wayne concert tonight. we waited 3 hours for him. then it was lit it was cool then he brought out some of his new artists along with Lil Twist they was whack. Wayne got mad and canceled the show. I’m still in disbelief like he really did that. smh #lilwayne.”

Others had similar thoughts, expressing their disbelief and saying that they “will never go to another Lil Wayne concert again.”
