Lil Nas X Crashes Strangers’ Wedding, Dances To “Old Town Road” With Guests

Wedding crashers are almost never welcome, but one newly-wed couple recently received quite the surprise at their reception. Rapper Lil Nas X showed up unannounced to a wedding reception at Disney World on February 22. The hip-hop artist, known for the song “Old Town Road” and who was named Outstanding New Artist at the NAACP Image Awards that same day, posted the surprise encounter on his Twitter page.

“Just crashed a wedding at disney world,” wrote Lil Nas X in the tweet. In the video, the rapper wore a white hoodie, white sweatpants, and a white cowboy hat. The bride, who is unknown at this time, led the rapper into the room where the reception was being held. His song “Old Town Road” was playing on the speakers when he walked in, and the rapper danced to the song with some of the children in attendance. Many of the guests were surprised by the unexpected appearance of the hip-hop artist, with one guest ecstatically yelling into the camera, “What the f–k is happening right now?”

The tweet has garnered more than 40,000 retweets and more than half a million likes. Many on social media found the surprise appearance from Lil Nas X humorous. Many on Twitter left entertaining tweets below the rapper’s post.
