One Direction’s Liam Payne went to the window of his hotel room in Milan, Italy on Friday to wave to the group’s avid fans that had gathered outside the building.

At one point on Friday, Payne was joined by his fellow One Directioners – Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson – greeting fans from the balcony at the Principe di Savoia Hotel in the Italian city. Still appreciative of all the attention the receive around the globe, the singers snapped pictures of the swelling crowd below. Horan even took to Twitter to comment on the mobs of One Direction fans.

One Direction Performs On Italy 'X Factor'

On Thursday, One Direction arrived in Milan to perform on the country’s X Factor. When Payne, Styles, Horan, Malik and Tomlinson took the stage in all black ensembles, the crowd erupted in cheers and applause. Together, they performed their latest single, the heartfelt “Story of My Life.”

One Direction recently wrapped up their Take Me Home world tour as they continue to drop tracks from their latest album Midnight Memories, which was released Nov. 25. The group is slated to kickoff another world tour sometime in 2014.
