Liam Gallagher Goes On Twitter Rant About His Brother & U2

Liam Gallagher and his brother Noel Gallagher have essentially been in one long fight since the inception of their now-defunct band Oasis in the early ’90s. Over two and a half decades later, their spats continue, as it did on Monday when Liam took to Twitter to berate his older brother for working with U2.

“Corporate muck rkid yousde to call U2 funny eh how many special people change as you were LG x,” he wrote.

While the message is certainly riddled with grammatical errors, many have taken the tweet to be in reference to his brother’s recent performance with U2, in which the former Oasis member performed one of the band’s most popular songs, “Don’t Look Back in Anger.”

Apparently, as Liam remembers it, Noel once referred to U2 as “corporate muck,” making him a hypocrite in Liam’s eyes.

Liam also took a stab at the fans Noel performed for, writing, “Nothing worse than being blanked by the naffest fans in the world.”

This most recent tweet storm is certainly not the first time Liam, 44, has tweeted about Noel, 50.

Back in June, Liam scolded his older brother for not showing up the One Love Manchester Benefit Concert organized after the Ariana Grande concert terror attack in the same town. The two brothers were rumored, ironically, to reunite for a performance of “Don’t Look Back in Anger.” Noel did not show up and the reunion never happened.

“Manchester id like to apologise for my brothers absence last night very disappointed stay beautiful stay safe LG x,” Liam wrote in June.

“Noels out of the f***ing country weren’t we all love get on a f***ing plane and play your tunes for the kids you sad f***,” he concluded.

Before his brother bashed him online, Noel had decided to donate his royalties from “Don’t Look Back in Anger” to the victims of the attack.
