Liam Gallagher Attacks ‘Smug’ Oasis Fans Complaining About Ticket Prices For Reunion Tour: ‘SHUT UP!’

Last week, iconic Brit band Oasis announced they are set to reunite for a tour across the U.K. next summer, which marks the end of a 15-year break and the long-standing feud between brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher.

But Liam was riled up by fans who criticized ticket prices. “SHUT UP,” he wrote on X.

“OASIS are back your welcome and I hear their ATTITUDE STINKS good to know something’s never change,” he added later.

The band, known for classics like “Wonderwall” and “Don’t Look Back in Anger,” originally disbanded in 2009 after years of internal conflict. Noel’s departure came just before a scheduled festival performance near Paris, which led to an even more significant rift between the brothers.

Noel disputed the accusation and sued, though he later dropped the lawsuit. At the time, Noel stated, “I simply could not go on working with Liam a day longer.” In 2011, Noel told reporters that he was prompted to leave the band when Liam started wielding a guitar “like an axe.”

However, despite their history, both Liam and Noel have expressed a willingness to reconcile with one another over the years. In a 2019 interview, Liam emphasized the importance of family with the statement, “The most important thing is about me and him being brothers…He thinks I’m desperate to get the band back together for money. But I didn’t join the band to make money. I joined the band to have fun and to see the world.”

Prior to the tour announcement, Oasis had prepared to release Definitely Maybe – Deluxe 30th Anniversary Editions, which celebrated the milestone of their debut album.

The upcoming tour will include 14 shows in Wales, England, Scotland, and Ireland throughout July and August. In their announcement, Oasis declared, “This is it. This is happening,” and emphasized the excitement surrounding their reunion.

On X, they hinted at their past tensions with the statement, “The guns have fallen silent. The stars have aligned. The great wait is over. Come see. It will not be televised.”
