Comedian Leslie Jones usually live-tweets during the airing of HBO’s Game of Thrones every weekend but this weekend, she was sick, an unable to fill her followers’ feeds with hilarious spoilers. But fans of Jones’ got an even bigger treat on Wednesday night.
The comedian went on Late Night with Seth Meyers to commentate on the latest episode alongside the host for the second ever edition of “Game of Jones.”
At the start of the episode, Jones was quick to share her opinions the show’s many characters.
Seth Meyers asked Jones what she thinks of Jaime Lannister, one of the show’s early villains who has since become one of the show’s protagonists.
“I feel like he a one armed bandit right now. That’s what I feel like. Mr. Goldfinger,” Jones said.
And Braun, Jaime’s now-trusted friend? “Braun is the gangster. Braun is the dude in the hood who knows where all the one dollar cigarettes is.”
Jones also shared her take on Bran Stark, the magical son of Ned Stark who, according to Jones, is strung out on some drug and high.
Jones also noted that whenever she confronts a romantic interest about not texting her back, she says she gets “Bran face.”
“They give me Bran face, like, ‘I’m the Three-Eyed-Raven, I ain’t got to answer.'”
“So you’ve dated multiple Three-Eyed-Ravens?” Meyers asks.
Said Jones, “All of them is Three-Eyed-Ravens.”
Half-way through the segment, Jones begins to share her thoughts on Varys, the conniving eunuch who has found himself in Daenerys Targaryen’s court. After saying that she doesn’t neccessarily trust him, Varys – well, Conleth Hill, the actor who plays Varys – crashes Jones and Meyers’ viewing party.
While Jones is excited to see him, she doesn’t hold back and quickly lets him know that she doesn’t trust him. He appears to take it as a fair criticism.
Together, the three actors watch as Daenerys flies into battle with her dragon, the first time such a weapon has been used. All three, including Hill, who had yet to see the episode, thoroughly enjoy the battle.
