The Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens game trailer officially dropped Tuesday after rumors started to swirl when the teaser leaked online.
Sony posted the official Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer to YouTube, confirming the forthcoming release of the video game. The trailer features Lego versions of John Boyega‘s Finn, Daisy Ridley‘s Rey and Oscar Isaac‘s Poe Dameron, as well as droid BB-8.
There are also Lego versions of the Millennium Falcon (above), Poe’s X-Wing and Rey’s speeder in the trailer.
The listing for Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens promises that not only will the game follow the story in the recent film, but that it will also fill in the story from the last Star Wars Lego game.
“In LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens, players relive the epic action from the blockbuster film Star Wars: The Force Awakens, retold through the clever and witty LEGO lens,” the listing reads.
It continues, “The game will also feature exclusive playable content that bridges the story gap between Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi and Star Wars: The Force Awakens.”
Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens is slated for release Tuesday June 28. It will be released in the U.K. July 1.
