News is leaking out that a new The Texas Chain Saw Massacre prequel will be horrifying film-goers in the future. Specific plot details for Leatherface have been released and fans of the franchise will be cringing when it is brought to life.
The movie will be shot around a violent teen who one day will become Leatherface. He escapes from a mental hospital with three other inmates. After, the foursome will kidnap a young nurse and take her on a road trip from hell. Along the way, they are pursued by an equally deranged lawman whom is out for revenge himself.
The film will star Sam Coleman, Sam Strike, James Bloor, Jessica Madsen as the four inmates, Vanessa Grasse as the young nurse, and Stephen Dorff as the lawman.
Leatherface is being produced by Christa Campbell and Lati Grobman with Carl Mazzocone after they successfully resurrected the franchise with 2013’s Texas Chainsaw 3D. No official release date for the film has been confirmed yet.
