Lauren Conrad, the former reality star, is getting ready for her wedding day, but she says she isn’t rushing to the gym or going on a crash diet in anticipation of her big day.

Lauren Conrad Talks Dieting And Body Image

Conrad, who starred on MTV’s Laguna Beach and The Hills before becoming a bestselling author and launching a successful lifestyle website, revealed that she hates going to the gym.

“When I have to go to the gym and put an hour in, I’m just staring at the clock,” Conrad told People.

More than that, she says she isn’t “good at dieting.” Instead, Conrad chooses to focus on living a healthy life, not on limiting herself based on gym visits and diet restrictions, something she wrote about on her blog.

“[As] I have grown, I have learned more to love my body for what it is. After all, it’s been good to me… And, in exchange, I treat my body the best I can. I stay active and feed it healthy food…I love my body the way it is because I have treated it well and continued to exercise and feed it healthy food throughout the years. I am all for body confidence, but I am even more for living a healthy lifestyle,” Conrad wrote.

Conrad concluded her blog post with her own definition of what makes a “bikini body,” writing, “A bikini body is not a certain weight, size or shape. It simply means working hard to treat your body right, exercise, eat healthy, and then feeling confident in your bikini.”

Though Conrad may have admitted to eating extra healthy to prepare for her wedding, she didn’t reveal any other details to her impending nuptials to recent law school graduate William Tell.
