Star War's Rogue One
A new trailer has been released for the upcoming Rogue One: A Star Wars Story film which is set to hit theaters on Dec. 16.
The movie will be directed by Gareth Edwards, and will star Felicity Jones as Jyn Erso and Diego Luna as Cassian Andor. The events in the film take place some time after Star Wars: Episode III — Revenge of the Sith and before Star Wars: Episode IV — A New Hope.
The trailer opens with a mother telling her daughter to “Trust the force,” which is a flashback to the climatic scene in the original Star Wars where Luke Skywalker destroys the Death Star.
The new trailer also reveals the return of the massive Death Star and the legendary villain Darth Vader. It also shows the familiar X-wing starfighters, new droids, and Rebellion fighters taking on the Empire’s arsenal of weapons and Storm Troopers.
Another Star Wars film centered around the character Han Solo is scheduled for a 2018 release.
