Lana Del Rey lost her vape while performing at the MITA Festival in Brazil last week. This was her first solo live performance in over three years.
In the time in between, she had only made appearances on talk shows such as The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and The Late Show WIth Stephen Colbert as well as with Bleachers at High Water Festival earlier this year.
As she began the song “Norman F—ing Rockwell,” she asked the audience, “And also if you see my vape on stage, can you find my vape on stage?”
She then conversed with a fan in the front, saying “F— it,” when they told her it was in the pit.
This isn’t the first time this has happened. Del Rey lost her vape at a 2019 concert in Portland, and similarly, she gave up the search and continued on with her set.

On the music side, Del Rey has seen a lot of success lately. Her previously-unreleased song “Say Yes To Heaven,” which was an outtake from the recording of her 2014 album, Ultraviolence, leaked online and went viral on TikTok. The track debuted in the top 10 of the UK Singles Chart. In March, she came out with her ninth studio album, Did You Know That There’s a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd, which peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart.
During her performance in Brazil, Del Rey debuted live performances of several songs on the album, including “A&W,” “Candy Necklace” and “The Grants.”
Del Rey recently got engaged to her music manager Evan Winiker.
