Lamar Odom ‘Ambushes’ Khloe Kardashian; Former NBA Star Denies Attacking Ex-Wife

Lamar Odom confronted Khloe Kardashian after she left a workout class in Beverly Hills, Calif., earlier this week, leading to stories that the former NBA star had “ambushed” his ex-wife.

Odom was pictured approaching Kardashian as she left a SoulCycle studio Wednesday. The reality TV star allegedly wasn’t expecting to see her ex-husband and was taken aback.

“It was a really scary morning. She was totally freaked out, she had no idea how he found her,” a source told People, adding that Kardashian was screaming at Odom. “Not only was it a surprise to see him, but it truly was a scary interaction.”

“She’s such a strong woman, it’s crazy to think about what she’s gone through. But she was absolutely emotionally shaken from this,” the source added. “And the thing is, despite everything that had happened with Lamar, she acknowledges that it overall was a good time in her life and he was a good guy with demons. This is definitely making her reevaluate and move on.”

After reports came out claiming that Odom had stalked Kardashain outside of the workout class and made a grab for her arm when she tried to walk away from him, Odom has offered a different version of events. According to the former basketball player, he had pre-arranged the meeting with Kardashian and that he’s not the man the media makes him out to be.

“I am not, not, not the person that they’re trying to make me out to be — whoever’s doing it. I live in Las Vegas. I live in Las Vegas. So was there an address or place given? Listen, was there an address or place given, or I just guessed right?” Odom said in a rant to a TMZ cameraman. “Don’t put words in my mouth, wait until I finish talking. Did I just guess right? Where this girl might be, that I know?” he fumed to TMZ

“Now I’m asking you. You know I know Khloé, right? Personally, right? You know I know her? So how would you think that I ended up there?” Odom asked. When the reported offered that the two had spoken beforehand, Odom agreed.

“Nobody got followed, nobody got hassled, nobody got harassed, nobody got grabbed on, none of that,” he said. “None of that happened.”

Odom went on to talk about how he’s been portrayed – as an unfaithful husband, who was also addicted to heroin. As a result of all the coverage, Odom says there’s no way for him to find a job.

“It’s hard for me to keep my composure. For everybody that I know and that supports me I’m sorry, but the dog has to fight back. That’s it,” Lamar said. “Y’all beat me down, degraded me, said I would do everything in the world; I’m a womanizer, a f–king drug addict, everything. Know what I’m saying? [I] probably couldn’t even get f–king hired from Home Depot right now, because of how people look at me. It’s over. If it happens again, I will air everything out.”

In a recent interview, Kardashian spoke fondly about Odom and their marriage, insisting that the time that they were together was a special time for her.

“Lamar is genuinely one of the best people I’ve ever met, and everyone says that when they meet him. I think Lamar’s going to always be that person [for me] but that’s what made it so special,” Kardashian told Complex magazine. “I miss what we had – things we got to do together are just memories. I like looking back and holding on to that stuff.”
