Lady Gage Injures Hip, Cancels Tour

Lady Gaga, 26, has been forced to cancel the rest of her world tour due to a severe injury.

"After additional tests this morning to review the severity of the issue, it has been determined that Lady Gaga has a labral tear of the right hip," the singer's rep told People Wednesday in a statement. "She will need surgery to repair the problem, followed by strict down time to recover. This unfortunately, will force her to cancel the tour, so she can heal."

The announcement came shortly after Gaga took to Facebook to announce her decision to postpone shows on her tour as a result of the injury. Saying she was “devastated and sad,” she also wrote “I hope you can forgive me, as it is nearly impossible for me to forgive myself. I hate this. I hate this so much. I love you and I'm sorry."

Refunds for cancelled performances will begin to be distributed on Thursday.
