Lady Gaga's Former Assistant Sues For Unpaid Overtime

When a diva needs her towel, it's someone's job to make sure she gets it.That's the kind of attitude that a recent law suit filed by a former personal assistant to Lady Gaga alleges led to $38,000 in unpaid overtime, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

Jennifer O'Neill, 41, who globe-trotted with Gaga, 25, on her 2010 Monster Ball tour, claims she put in 7,168 hours of overtime for the singer as she was tasked with ensuring "the promptness of a towel following a shower" and acting as a "personal alarm clock to keep [Gaga] on schedule." In a suit filed in Manhattan last week, O'Neill is demanding payment from Gaga's Mermaid Touring company.

O'Neill goes on to claim that she was denied breaks for meals and for sleep, and was required to go above and beyond for the singer, including verifying "the availability of chosen outfits." (As in, like, ordering from the butcher's shop?)

Gaga's camp called the charges bogus and "completely without merit."
