Lady Gaga is teasing her latest project, a documentary about herself called Gaga: Five Foot Two.
“I’m known for being larger than life, but really I’m just…” she teased on Twitter this morning. The documentary will premiere at this year’s Toronto International Film Festival, and simultaneously appear on Netflix on Sept. 22. According to the Netflix release, the film offers a glimpse of Gaga offstage, and shows how she deals with her health issues and insecurities. Gaga: Five Foot Two “pulls back the curtain to introduce the woman behind the performer, the costumes, the glitz and the glamour.”
In a clip the singer posted, she says, “I’m alone, every night. And all these people will leave, right? They will leave, and then I’ll be alone,” she cries out. “And I go from everyone touching me all day and talking at me all day to total silence.” The accompanying video shows the singer underwater for a while before her head pops up.
In another clip, she sits on a medical exam table and discusses her pain management plan with her doctor.
And in another, the camera sees Gaga’s dangling feet, but pans out to see the singer attached to strings while practicing her routine for the last Super Bowl Halftime show.
Aside from the film, Gaga is also currently on tour promoting her latest album Joanne.
