Lady Gaga is quite generous with her fans.
The 31-year-old pop star surprised her “Little Monsters” in Montreal with free pizza on Monday after canceling a concert she was scheduled to give in the Canadian city on Labor Day. Gaga postponed the show citing health issues.
“I couldn’t be more devastated that I am unable to perform tonight,” she wrote in a Twitter post. “I sing this entire show live, and pride myself in giving it all, but when I sang in the rain at Citi Field I got sick and have been pushing through. I am so sorry to anyone who had their heart set on seeing me tonight.”
Several of Gaga’s fans then began sharing pictures on Twitter of themselves eating the pizza graciously granted to them by the “Million Reasons” singer.
Gaga is currently on her Joanne World Tour to promote her album of the same name. After a while, the fans who were eating the pizza began singing “Grigio Girls,” a bonus track from the record.
The pop star posted the video of the fans singing below the balcony of her room at the William Gray Montreal hotel on her Snapchat, adding the caption: “I can’t believe you are singing ‘Grigio Girls’ I will make it up to you I promise Montreal hope you liked the ?and autographs?.”
“Only Monsters would bring the concert to me,” Gaga captioned another video of her fans crooning.
Gaga had played two shows at Citi Field in Flushing Meadows, Queens last week — one on Monday and one on Tuesday — and it was the heavy rain during Tuesday’s concert that got her sick.
