She may be embroiled in a lawsuit with her ex-producer, but Lady Gaga keeps on cashing in. Fresh off the release of her hit video for "Telephone," Yahoo Music reports the artist has become the only act in the digital era to top the 5 million sales mark with both of her first two hits. And if that wasn’t enough, Mashable.com reports that Gaga has become the first artist to have one billion online video views.

How did she do it? GaGa’s single "Poker Face" reached 5 million in sales this year, after her previous single, "Just Dance" sold the same amount the year before. The Black Eyed Peas are the only other artists that have two songs at or above 5 million.

Using numbers compiled by video analytic company Visible Measures, Mashable added video views for Gaga’s “Poker Face” (374,606,128), “Just Dance” (272,941,674) and “Bad Romance” (360,020,327) which came to a total of 1,007,568,129. Twilight and Soulja Boy come in second and third place with 980 million and 860 million views respectively. The majority of the views come from video sites Vevo and YouTube.

This is great news for Gaga who is reportedly gearing up to shoot her next video for her song "Alejandro" in the coming months. –JOE GALBO
