Lady Gaga Shares ‘House of Gucci’ Photo With Adam Driver
“Signore e Signora Gucci #HouseOfGucci,” the “Poker Face” singer wrote on her Instagram alongside a photo of the pair in the snowy, Italian Alps.
In the highly anticipated film directed by Ridley Scott, Gaga and Driver will tell the true story of Patricia Reggiani and Maurizio Gucci and their fashion empire. Reggiani and Gucci got married in 1973 and had two children. During their marriage, Reggiani was a well-known socialite while her husband recklessly spent money before selling his shares of the fashion company to Investcorp, a Bahrain-based merchant bank.
Gucci filed for divorce from Reggiani in 1985, leading to a separation that wasn’t steeled until 1991. A few years later, Reggiani hired a hitman to kill the 46-year-old heir outside his Milan office. She was arrested in 1997 and dubbed the “Black Widow” by the Italian press. Reggiani was sentences to 29 years in prison. She was released in 2014.
Scott has been trying to make this film for over a decade with dozens of other actors rumored to be attached the film.
