Lady Gaga and Mick Jagger made a surprise appearance at Studio 8H when they stopped by Saturday Night Live to assist Bad Bunny, who was the show’s host and musical guest of the night.
Bad Bunny started off, “People are wondering if I can host this show because English is not my first language. I don’t know if they know, but I do whatever I want.”
He continued that he could do the show in English but would much rather do it in Spanish.
The Last of Us star Pedro Pascal appeared to translate for Bad Bunny.
Bad Bunny concluded in Spanish, and Pascal told the crowd, “He says, ‘I’m blessed to be here with my favorite actor Pedro Pascal.’”
Pascal offered Bad Bunny comedic advice to be a good host.
“It’s always charming when you make a self-deprecating joke… about a part of your body or your face that’s unflattering,” he said. Bad Bunny joked he doesn’t have one.
Later in the show, Lady Gaga introduced the Puerto Rican musical artist.
“Nueva York, Puerto Rico, y todo el corillo… Bad Bunny.”
Bad Bunny performed his song “Un Preview” off his newly released album Nadie Sabe Que Va a Pasar Mañana.
Jagger appeared in a few SNL skits. In one, he played “Sister Kevin,” who confesses to affairs with other nuns in the convent. “I was the one who corrupted these poor women with my lips and my hips,” Jagger said. “I was the one who rang the bell with my p—- and yelled, ‘Ding-dong!’”
His character continued, “I know this is probably the worst sex scandal in the history of the church… But look on the bright side. Before I got here, all these sisters just mumbled, ‘Our Father,’ and now they’re screaming, ‘Oh, God!’”
Jagger also crashed a sketch about a telenovela, where Bad Bunny portrayed a Spanish soap opera actor who gets slapped multiple times by his father, played by Jagger.
Jagger was later spotted at the SNL afterparty, accompanied by his choreographer fiancee Melanie Hamrick, Lady Gaga, Bad Bunny and his girlfriend, Kendall Jenner.
Bad Bunny was born Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio. He made his last appearance on SNL in 2021.
This show marked Lady Gaga’s first appearance on the show since 2016.
Jagger recently debuted his new album with Lady Gaga at a surprise club show last week in New York City.
