Immediately following her successful performance at the 2017 Super Bowl halftime show, Lady Gaga announced her upcoming world tour. She broke the news the same Sunday night on her Twitter:

 

Though some fans were ecstatic, others were less enthusiastic about the anticipated cost of seeing the the show.

 

 

 

Other fans expressed their lack of surprise at the announcement following her largely successful Super Bowl performance.

 

Lady Gaga’s Upcoming World Tour, ‘Joanna’

The major worldwide tour takes its name, Joanne, from Gaga’s most recent album of the same name, released last October.

Gaga’s official website was updated on Monday to display the complete list of tour dates. Joanne will kick off on August 1, in Vancouver, British Columbia. It will then include stops in New York, Rio de janeiro, Berlin and other European cities, before wrapping up in Salt Lake City on December 14.

The Joanne world tour marks Gaga’s first major tour since her Cheek to Cheek tour, which ran from 2014 to 2015, and in which she performed with jazz player Tony Bennett.

The upcoming Joanne tour will have more intimate shows than her last tour, and will run the course of 48 days.
