A spinoff of the hit show Sons of Anarchy might be closer to becoming a reality with the most recent tweet from screenwriter, Kurt Sutter.
The upcoming spinoff series will surround the Mayans Motorcycle Club but not many details have been divulged. The Mayans MC were powerful rivals of the Sons of Anarchy, a group made up entirely of Latino members.
He tweeted, “Mayans MC spinoff just got one step closer. I’m very excited about this story. Dark and beautiful. #MayansMC”
With very few details surrounding the series, fans can speculate that it will not interfere with any previous story lines from its predecessor. Perhaps the new story line will take place in a completely different city with brand new characters.
