Comedian Ellen DeGeneres was up to her usual shenanigans when she and actress Kristen Bell created a Spice Girls audition tape for the two open spots on the group’s tour.

Melanie “Scary Spice” Brown confirmed on The Late Late Show with James Corden that a Spice Girls reunion show is in the works for 2017. Brown will be joined by fellow members Geri “Ginger Spice” Horner and Emma “Baby Spice” Bunton, but both Melanie “Sporty Spice” Chisholm and Victoria “Posh Spice” Beckham will pass up the opportunity.

Despite two original members not joining the tour, it appears the Spice Girls plan to find amateurs to replace them using a BBC show. Enter Bell and DeGeneres. The duo performed an audition tape to the 1996 hit “Wannabe” as “Fresh Garlic Spice” and “Basil Spice,” respectively.

“Because I know a lot dance moves,” Bell states in response to why the pair should be chosen. “And because I know a lot of spices,” continued DeGeneres. The two, dressed in ridiculous bright clothing with Ellen in a pink and blonde wig, humorously messed up the song lyrics as Bell danced enthusiastically and DeGeneres listed off the names of various spices. “Paprika, rosemary, thyme, chili peppers, uh nutmeg, oregano.”
