Kristen Bell Admits To Hitting Mom As A Teenager On ‘James Corden’ [VIDEO]

Kristen Bell revealed on this week’s Late Late Show With James Corden that the only person she’s gotten in a physical fight with, and hit, was her mom.The 36-year-old actress recalled the altercation this Tuesday, which happened with her mom, Lorelei.

“I did once, in real life [have a physical fight],” Bell divulged. “The only person I have every gotten physical with, and hit, was my mom!”

Corden and his audiences were shocked. The Veronica Mars star hurriedly exclaimed, “I know! I’m so sorry!”

“Well, first of all, I grew up very small, very scrappy. Everyone called me sweetheart or sweetie, and I had so much aggression. I was like, ‘Erg!’ I was rebellious,” Bell recalled. “We were in the middle of a fight, and I just looked at her and I said, ‘F**k you!'”

“She wound her hand back, and before she even made contact, I was up, and I whipped it right back. And we both stopped, and we were both, like, [crying],” she continued. “I know, I feel really bad.”

The host cracked a joke to lighten the mood. “She must be so excited for when your daughter gets older,” Corden said. Though it does seem like Bell was a feisty and rebellious youngster, her two daughters, 3-year-old Lincoln and 2-year-old Delta, are much more tranquil.

“We have a dialogue with them where there are things that are acceptable and things that are not,” she described. “There’s no bad cop enforcing anything…. Everything is very calm in our household.”

Bell and husband Dax Shepard, whom she married in 2013, live with their two serene daughters in Los Angeles.
