Kris Jenner Slammed For Giving Grandson Psalm West $1,500 Toy Tesla Cybertruck For 5th Birthday

Kris Jenner gifted her grandson Psalm West a $1,500 mini Tesla Cybertruck for his 5th birthday. Psalm, the son of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, was featured on his mother’s Instagram Stories on Thursday with his new ride.

Psalm and one of his sisters, Chicago, sat in the Cybertruck together while Kris watched her grandkids. Kim captioned the video, “Thank you mom! @krisjenner for the coolest gift for Psalm for his bday. Baby Cyber truck.”

More videos and photos showed Kim’s children playing outside with the toy vehicle and riding along the grass. Kim later posted a picture of Psalm’s birthday cake, an extravagant Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles-themed cake featuring sculptures of all the characters. 

According to the Tesla website, the mini Cybertruck has a maximum speed of 10 mph and is equipped with LED headlights and taillights. Kim, who owns a real Cybertruck, said Psalm was going to “match Mommy” with his new car. The reality star also left a sweet message on social media for her son’s birthday.

“I can’t tell you how blessed I feel to be your mom!” Kim wrote.

Critics on social media were less enthusiastic, calling the gift “inappropriate” and “wasteful.” 

Kim was also recently taken to task for her “privilege” after sharing a photo of her son Saint walking with Lionel Messi before a game. 

Kim wrote a tribute to her son on social media. 

“Your calm energy is much appreciated in our household, lol,” she wrote alongside photos of her son in a post. “You prove you can be the Hulk, Spider-Man or an archeologist any day of the week! I’ve never met someone who sleeps more than you do, and one day, I will show you the entire photo album I’ve made of your sleeps!”

Kim shares four children with West: North, Saint, Chicago and Psalm. Psalm was born via surrogate in 2019 and is the youngest of the four.
